- Bottom layer is the backing paper - this is a blue waxy paper.
Before you apply
- Make sure there is no wax on the surface, decals will not stick.
- Do not apply the decal in extreme heat or cold, surfaces must be between 10°C and 32°C / 50°F and 90°F.
- Do not touch the adhesive backing on the actual vinyl decal.
Preparation
- Wash and rinse the area with washing up liquid and warm water and dry the surface with a clean, lint-free cloth.
Applying the Decal
- Using a flat object ie a credit card, on a table, press firmly over the whole decal to make sure the transfer tape is properly stuck to the vinyl decal.
- Now turn the decal upside down and holding the transfer tape, slowly pull the backing paper off. This will leave you will the decal stuck onto the transfer tape.
- Now stick decal and transfer tape into position and use your credit card to smooth out any air bubbles etc.
Slowly peel back the transfer tape and this will leave the decal.
